System Requirements

The following list of requirements may seem quite long, but this is just for the sake of accuracy. It is extremely unlikely that any mainstream Windows PC manufactured in the last twenty years will be unable to run IO.

PC running Microsoft Windows XP to 11 (not in S mode)

As IO is not available from the Microsoft Store it cannot be installed on a PC running Window 10 or 11 in S mode. If you wish to use IO on such a PC you need to switch out of S mode.

32-bit or 64-bit Intel x86 compatible CPU, or accurate emulation

Intel x87 compatible floating-point hardware, or accurate emulation

Screen display of at least 1024 x 768 pixels

Internet connection required for installation, not required for use

At least 20MB of available disk storage to contain installation

At least 4MB of available memory to run
